Duwe Engineering was formed in 1967 as a general engineering shop above a bakery in Didsbury, Manchester. In 1969, a workshop in Withington, Manchester was acquired and the company moved from making railings and gates into large tent and marquee construction.

In 1971, it was decided that a more stable business proposition was needed and the decision to begin the manufacture of Test Cube Moulds was made. With a unique weight saving design, the first Duwe Engineering Test Cube Moulds appeared in 1972. By 1990, the company was making more cube moulds than the size of the workshop could cope with.

In 1992, we moved to our current location in Altrincham.

With increased space, and a specially designed workshop, our efficiency and productivity increased dramatically.

Our experience in the field of cube mould manufacture has made us one of the leading exporters
of cube moulds in this country.
